I’m Just Here to Experience Life

An experimental subject who has no idea what to do decides to enter the Hunter Exam for fun, and because the money they brought out of the lab is running low and they need funds. After weighing all kinds of rumors and gossip, they make their choice.

Though they think they're keeping a low profile, people still ask them questions they don't know how to answer.

About my special eyes: Heterochromia? My right eye is shared with my family, you see.

About my family: We don't need unnecessary things like parents. We only have brothers and sisters, and we're each other's one and only family... But I really hope Gon can become part of our family too. Oh, and Kurapika over there as well... though I doubt he'll accept. Anyway, all of us, from Number 1 to Number 99, feel the same way.

About Nen: Wait, this thing has a name, and you can even study it systematically? I thought I was the one-in-a-million child of destiny...

Content warning:

Written while catching up on the anime.

It started when I was watching the anime while chatting with a friend over voice call. The wild idea I casually came up with was so outrageous that I decided to write a story and let the protagonist run wild with my imagination.

Mary Sue warning, though he's a guy. It's not about romance, but his Nen ability is just a tiny bit overpowered...

Theme: A pure and innocent experimental subject with an astonishingly vivid imagination
