(The original pitch was a harem fantasy, but when I was outlining the story, I realized I couldn't make a harem work. These two are a match made in heaven, so I decided to bring them together.)
1.
Xie Ran has a handsome face, but he’s poor, stingy, and vain, and all he wants is to marry into money. On the surface, he earns pocket money by delivering love letters to the campus belle on behalf of his rich roommate. In private, he’s always trying to steal her away, hoping to live off her sweet money.
One day, he learns behind his rich roommate’s back that the campus belle likes muscular men, and starts working out like crazy, hoping to win her over in one fell swoop.
But he’s so cheap that he won’t pay for a personal trainer. All he can do is secretly copy the yoga moves his sister learns in class and buy counterfeit protein powder.
To his surprise, the more he works out, the smoother and fairer his skin gets. No matter what he does, he can’t build a big, impressive physique. The only thing growing is his chest, until it gets so big that he has to shamefully bind it every day...
His facial hair disappears, his skin turns fair and delicate, he occasionally gives off a faint fragrance, and his eyes become bright and beautiful...
Xie Ran is horrified and scared out of his mind. He immediately sends the campus belle a letter, hoping to confess before he turns completely into a “twink.”
She says yes, and includes a short sailor-style miniskirt outfit, telling him to wear it on their date.
He doesn’t know why the campus belle has such a weird thing for that, but if it means he can start living off her money sooner, Xie Ran grits his teeth, puts on the skimpy outfit, and goes to meet her alone.
2.
The rich kid has known for a while that the idiot Xie Ran is trying to steal the girl he likes. He’d let it slide because they were roommates, but Xie Ran has gone too far.
The love letter gets intercepted before it can even be delivered. The rich kid deliberately sends back a prank reply, buys a cheap set of women’s clothes, and shows up in an alley the next day with a camera, eager to watch Xie Ran’s face crumple in despair.
The idiot is so scared that he drops to his knees on the spot, clings to his leg, and sobs, “Please, let me go! I’ll do anything!”
The rich kid had planned to kick him away, but then he notices Xie Ran’s pretty face, his rosy lips, and his shimmering eyes, with a tear poised to fall.
The clothes are so tight they look ready to pop off him. They’re outrageously vulgar.
The rich kid arches a brow, suddenly grips Xie Ran’s chin, and studies him for a moment. Then he smiles. “I might be willing to let you go.”
“Come to my room tonight wearing that outfit.”

Xie Ran has watched plenty of videos about rich men keeping lovers. He never dared dream of becoming a rich man, but he never thought he’d become someone’s kept lover!
The rich kid buys him luxury goods during the day, but at night he brings down the rod, making him wear all kinds of mortifying outfits and pose in all sorts of strange positions, leaving him miserable.
He can’t take it anymore and runs away. Only afterward does he realize that the rich kid had spoiled him so much that he can’t stomach cheap street food or wear affordable clothes. His pampered, fair, delicate skin turns bright red from the slightest friction.
He doesn’t dare go back, so he tries to make big money by streaming online.
He does make money. But his “big sisters” are all strange, always making requests that are hard to say out loud. They make him work out in front of the camera and force him to wear sailor outfits, qipaos, garter stockings... and other bizarre clothes.
He doesn’t know that nobody is actually watching his livestream. His only three viewers are all alternate accounts belonging to the rich kid.
The rich kid scolds him in his heart for being an idiot and leaving his good life behind to wander around.
But he can’t stop himself from sending money, buying pretty clothes and luxury goods, ordering fancy meals, and shamelessly leaving comments.
