Drawn into this strange ability, so far beyond his understanding, Xie Si was horrified.

Fortunately, the bloody, brutal plot of the original novel, "City of Slaughter," would not officially begin for several years.

He decided to ignore this cheat ability and actively prepare to improve his odds of survival, but gradually realized that everything around him was becoming eerily strange, beyond his control.

On his walk home after class at night, the shadows cast by the streetlights behind him grew longer and longer, twisting and writhing like living things.

Even the Rainy Night Butcher, wanted nationwide, claimed he had fallen in love at first sight. He abducted Xie Si to an abandoned warehouse, pinning him against the cold wall with a body that was monstrously huge, unlike any ordinary human's.

Then the other man bent down. His lips, so scarlet they looked inhuman, parted to reveal a mouth like an animal's abdominal cavity, lined with slick, dark folds. A long, purplish-black tongue suddenly shot out.

"You smell so good."

That cold, slimy tongue, covered in bizarre patterns, twitched as it slipped beneath Xie Si's shirt and pressed against his pounding heart.

Its tip flicked nervously, licking his skin again and again, making a continuous, sticky, wet sound that sent chills crawling over his scalp.

"So good, so good, so good so good so good so good so good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good good so good so good so good..."

[Bonus Scene]

The strangest thing was that, one day, a heartbeat suddenly appeared deep within Xie Si's flat abdomen.

He hadn't finished reading the novel, so he didn't know that "City of Slaughter" was only its approved title.

The novel's rejected former title was: "The Evil God Descends."

The idiot was so scared that he dropped to his knees on the spot, clung to the heir's leg, and sobbed, "Please let me go! I'll do anything!"

The heir had meant to kick him away, but then he noticed his pretty face, his rosy lips, and his glistening eyes, each holding a tear on the verge of falling.

The outfit was so tight on him that its buttons looked ready to burst. It was ridiculously indecent.

The heir raised an eyebrow, suddenly gripped his chin, and studied him for a moment before smiling. "I suppose I could let you go."

Xie Ran had seen plenty of videos about rich bosses keeping young lovers. He'd never dared to imagine becoming a rich boss himself, but he never thought he would end up being the kept lover!

The rich heir bought him luxury goods during the day, but at night he laid into him with a cane, making him wear all kinds of outrageously embarrassing outfits and strike all sorts of bizarre poses until he was in agony.

He couldn't take it anymore and ran away. Only after escaping did he realize that the rich heir had spoiled him too much. He couldn't stomach street food or wear cheap clothes, and his pampered, fair, delicate skin turned red from even the slightest friction.

Only when his legs shook so badly he nearly wet himself did the tentacle leisurely pull him into the shadows and begin its daily feast.

His efforts finally paid off, and more and more viewers tuned in.

The only problem was that their tips started going in a strange direction.
