A Chinese-style Cthulhu story (?).
Inspired by a type of Cthulhu speculation from a readers’ forum: “What if the legends from history were true?” Also inspired by my impressions from reading the “Clothing Omens” section of the Five Phases chapter in the Book of Sui years ago.
The setting is based on The Romance of Sui and Tang, which is a novel, not history. Any similarities are purely coincidental.
And, well, this is the first time the author has tried writing something like this, so please go easy on me (tears).
