Mistaken for a Substitute, I Beat the Scumbag Into Amnesia

Yan Qing had been together with Fang Xunzhi, the eldest son of the Fang family, for five years, and their relationship had always been good. Fang Xunzhi had a fiery temper, so they occasionally argued, but Yan Qing didn't want their fights to affect their relationship and always took the initiative to make up. Even when Fang Xunzhi's family and friends gave him a hard time, he never told Fang Xunzhi.

Later, Yan Qing discovered that Fang Xunzhi had someone in his heart, a moonlight he loved but could never have. Yan Qing was nothing more than a substitute for that person.

Five years of love had turned into a joke. In a fit of rage, Yan Qing took a stick and beat Fang Xunzhi until his head was covered in blood, then broke up with him and left.

A week later, instead of receiving a court summons, he got the news that Fang Xunzhi had lost his memory.

They said he had even forgotten his parents.

Yan Qing smiled bitterly. Maybe it was for the best. From now on, they could live out their lives without ever seeing each other again.

But the next day, Fang Xunzhi stood downstairs from his home with his head covered in injuries, shouting, "Yan Qing! Honey!"

Yan Qing: ??? Didn't that jerk lose his memory???

Fang Xunzhi really had lost his memory. He learned from the photos and chat history on his phone that he had a lover named Yan Qing, whom he had loved for five years, and went to find him.

Watching Fang Xunzhi looking so eager downstairs, Yan Qing thought bitterly, You toyed with someone's feelings, then forgot everything after taking one beating, leaving all the pain for me. What gives you the right?

After Fang Xunzhi lost his memory, his lofty family and friends discovered that his gentle, bookish boyfriend, Yan Qing, wasn't quite the same anymore.

The Nth time Fang's mother put a bank card loaded with a million yuan in front of Yan Qing and told him to leave her son, Yan Qing immediately called Fang Xunzhi.

"Hey, your mom offered me money to break up with you. Get over here within five minutes and deal with her."

Fang's mother: ???

Later, the moonlight returned from abroad. Fang Xunzhi's family and friends wept with joy. At last they could get rid of Yan Qing.

The moonlight stood in front of Fang Xunzhi and said gently, "Xunzhi, I'm back."

Yan Qing's face was expressionless.

Fang Xunzhi: "Who are you? Don't block the way."

Family and friends: ???

Later still, Fang Xunzhi regained his memories. His family and friends were utterly despairing: there was no hope of making them break up now.

But Yan Qing ran off on his own.
