The cafe occasionally hosts charity sign-language events.
Mr. Bai is kind and gentle. Sometimes women give him gifts and confess their feelings, but he has never casually started a relationship.
Su Weilan likes to sit quietly in a corner of his cafe and paint.
He helped make her usual seat more comfortable. Before long, the spot where Bai Jinheng used to work became her private seat.
She had visited Bai Jinheng's sign-language cafe 67 times...
He remembered what she liked.
Mr. Bai rarely speaks, but with her alone, he is exceptionally attentive.
He does his best to enunciate clearly when he says, "Where does it hurt?" "Be careful," and "You worked hard."
He can't hide the things he does from the heart, though he doesn't want to admit too soon that it was love at first sight.
When she cries, he hands her a tissue.
When she's hungry, he makes her snacks himself.
When she feels sad and dejected, he makes her a little card to comfort her.
When she laughs, the corners of his mouth slowly lift along with hers...
Sometimes he doesn't want to wear his hearing aids and hear the world too clearly. Because of her, he wants to hear more of the heavenly sounds that belong to her.
Not long after they start dating, Su Weilan falls for Mr. Bai's tenderness.
One day, she playfully asks him, despite already knowing the answer, how to sign "thank you."
She deliberately signs "marry me" instead...
After they marry, when their parents urge them to have a baby, he immediately covers her ears.
He tells his parents in sign language: [My wife is still young. We'll think about it when she's a little older...]
Mr. Bai is in his first relationship, but all the tenderness and romantic gestures he has to offer are reserved for her alone.
Irreverent blurb:
Other people's first loves are either heart-stopping or happen naturally. Su Weilan can only stare up at the sky in exasperation. Her first love goes like this: first a honeymoon trip, then wedding photos taken on the trip, and only after that dating, marriage, and having a child...
Su Weilan discovers that the two of them can't even manage the tiniest little spat. When Bai Jinheng isn't wearing his hearing aids, he ignores every other way of communicating. His gaze drowns her first, and then she has no choice but to face him and let him read her lips. She can't even avoid his eyes. Before long, she softens on her own.
He's wonderful in every way, and gentle in every way, even when he holds her in his arms and wears his hearing aids to listen to her soft moans...
The owner of five sign-language cafes, a low-key big shot in the environmental protection industry, VS a senior art student specializing in traditional Chinese painting, an antiques appraiser, and a painter
Content warnings:
1. Sweet from beginning to end. Both leads are virgins, with a seven-year age gap. He's 30, she's 23.
2. No angst in the setting or romance. Sweet and doting, with plenty of indulgence.
Lots of ridiculous wingmen, and the family members are all characters.
Some misunderstandings and a bit of comedy. The heroine thinks the hero is poor for much of the early story.
3. The hero is hard of hearing, with some author-created details. Please skip if that's not for you.
But he's a pure-hearted, romantic, gentle giant over 180 cm tall!
His mother is an auctioneer, and his father is a collector. Both leads have a goofy younger brother.
4. Steamy scenes: If any of my boys aren't up to scratch, remember to call me out in the comments.
5. A paternal boyfriend. More of a gentle, slow-burn pampering romance...
6. Entirely fictional. Any famous people, rare treasures, and the like mentioned are made up.
Theme: Love with all your heart; live sustainably and reduce carbon emissions.
To be honest, the male protagonist can hear with a hearing aid, and it doesn't have much impact on his speech and communication. …So, I really don't think the heroine has any need to learn sign language…the hero himself doesn't know how to use it.
I read it in one sitting, it's great! 🤩
Keep up the good work↖(^ω^)↗
Come on↖(^ω^)↗
The "eyes" are a big thorn in the side of the author~ glasses
"Bai Shuyao looked at Bai Shuyao with a smile" gave the author a big bug~ There is a typo
