Lin Su was reunited with her birth mother at the age of six and inherited a huge fortune from her.
Seeing nothing but money signs, she was both bewildered and delighted. "I'm rich! I'm rich!"
Then, at fourteen, she transferred to Gotham to fulfill her mother's last wish:
Find her biological father.
So Lin Su went to Gotham, only for her powers to erupt as soon as she arrived. She didn't care and simply took a leave of absence from school, going out of town to find a way to suppress them. Who knew that when she got to Egypt, she would save a magician? The money-minded magician told her that the only way to control her rampaging powers was to find her biological father. Otherwise, she would be crushed to death by her own growing energy.
So Lin Su had no choice but to return to Gotham and take charge of the company she had just inherited there. One day, on her way home from work, she found a filthy person. She brought him home, only to realize he looked exactly like the missing second son of the Wayne family. So she casually healed him and notified the wealthy Gothamite.
The wealthy man arrived and thanked her with a grateful look. Terrified, she hurriedly refused his thanks and explained that she needed to find her biological father. Gotham's sweetheart agreed without hesitation to take care of it. When he learned that his newly resurrected child couldn't be moved, Gotham's sweetheart had no choice but to leave, saying he would come back the next day.
Jason Todd, the second Robin. After crawling back from the grave, he learned that Batman had a new Robin and was furious. Low in spirits, he collapsed in an alley. When he woke again, he was clean and lying in a bed, with someone beside him. He opened his eyes to find a girl about his age. After learning she had saved him, Jason let down his guard and gradually recovered under Lin Su's halfhearted care.
One day, Lin Su went home after work as usual. When she got back, she found her new boyfriend sitting on the sofa with Wayne, the man who had promised to find her father but hadn't given her any news. After exchanging a kiss with her darling boyfriend as usual, Lin Su asked the wealthy man why he looked so strange. His answer was that she was his child.
Stunned by the news, Lin Su's first thought was:
Oh no, I can't marry Jason now.
Jason/Bruce: ...So that's what you care about?
Lin Su: What else? I've got money and looks. What else could I possibly care about?
After some hesitation, Lin Su accepted Bruce's invitation to move into the manor, where she began enjoying life with his other adopted children.
Maybe it wasn't all that enjoyable?
