When I Fell into a Textbook

Also known as: I Transmigrated Before the College Entrance Exam

Tang Qianjia had coasted through two and a half of his three years of high school. He finally came to his senses in the second semester of his senior year, but it was already too late.

On the night of June 6, Tang Qianjia went to bed early, hoping to get a good night's sleep so he could perform exceptionally well on the exam the next day and score somewhere between 300 and 400 points.

Half-asleep, he heard his homeroom teacher's words echo in his ears: "If you don't work on the problems you can't solve now, they'll all become traps waiting for you in the exam room." The words played on a loop in his mind as Tang Qianjia sank into a deep sleep.

The alarm rang. Tang Qianjia opened his eyes and suddenly realized he was lying on a vast lawn.

Tang Qianjia sprang to his feet and spotted a building not far away. Hanging above its entrance was a plaque bearing two large characters: "Set Theory."

A voice sounded beside him: "You're really going to start studying from set theory..."

To his horror, Tang Qianjia realized that he had... transmigrated into a book? Into the first required high school math textbook?!

Some time later, Tang Qianjia was walking alongside him. As they walked, they came to a dead end that looked like a cliff. One more step forward and they would fall.

Tang Qianjia said, "Could 'the sky is round and the earth is square' actually be true?"

Jiang Xueyuan recalled that every single high school textbook had been perfectly square, and understood that Tang Qianjia had finished making up for his neglect of math. Then why hadn't he transmigrated back yet?

A sudden clap of thunder sounded in Jiang Xueyuan's mind. He couldn't help frowning. "Just how many other subjects did you cut corners on when you studied them...?"
