Things Went Wrong After I Started Dating My Boss Online

At a friend's enthusiastic recommendation, Yu Qiao felt too awkward to refuse. So, with the firm belief that they would never meet in person, not even after death, he secretly started an online relationship using an alternate WeChat account.

Unexpectedly, his online partner was very aloof.

His friend advised him, "If they don't make the first move, you should. That's what makes online dating fun."

Yu Qiao thought that made sense. Since they weren't going to meet in person anyway, he racked his brains every day to come up with things to talk about.

But the other person still acted lukewarm.

Then one day, he plucked up the courage to send a voice message, sweetly calling, "Hubby~"

This time, the other person replied instantly and enthusiastically: "Such a good baby."

Yu Qiao thought the other person's voice was wonderful. Just listening to it made him weak in the knees, though it did sound a little familiar.

After that, he realized the other person seemed to love it when he acted cute, so he got even bolder and started teasing him with voice messages.

Their relationship quickly grew closer.

What he never expected was that the other person was his aloof boss, Fu Chenjun, whom he'd complained about countless times in private.

He immediately chickened out, thinking that if Fu Chenjun discovered who he really was, he might lose his job.

To avoid this terrible outcome, he hurriedly blocked Fu Chenjun on WeChat.

But ever since then, though he couldn't tell if it was just his imagination, he always felt that his boss looked at him a little strangely...
