My Childhood Friend, the Campus Hunk, Is Acting Strange

Tang Yi's campus heartthrob childhood friend is aloof and hates gay people.

To hide the fact that he'd already fallen for him, Tang Yi decisively pretends to be straight and firmly declares, "I'm one of the guys from Kongtong Mountain too!"

But to spend more time with his childhood friend and indulge his secret little feelings, he has no choice but to come up with all sorts of excuses:

"Chi Xiaoyu, the water heater in my dorm is broken. Can I come shower in your dorm?"

"Chi Xiaoyu, could you pick up some food for me when you go to the cafeteria?"

"Chi Xiaoyu, I don't understand this problem. Could you teach me?"

His childhood friend let him shower there, picked up food for him, patiently helped him with his problems, and even gave him his bed.

With a childhood friend who always said yes to his requests, Tang Yi felt he was about to give away his feelings.

To keep his unrequited love from coming to light and ruining their relationship for good, he went to work in another city as soon as he graduated from college. But just a few days into the job, he saw his childhood friend show up as his coworker.

Tang Yi: "???"

Later, Tang Yi came out, but his childhood friend just calmly said, "Great."

Tang Yi: "???"

So much for hating gay people!
