Just a Plaything

Jiang Zhiyu's life had never gone smoothly.

After all the hardships of his childhood, he finally found someone to love, only for fate to play a cruel joke on him: he transmigrated.

Into the body of a male prostitute.

No one knew his name. People as lowly as him didn't deserve one. Whether they sank into the mud or climbed to the clouds, they all called him Zhizhi.

Amid royal power and wealth, a man of low status could never escape the control of the powerful.

Read at your own risk: a tangled social circle; the love interest is involved in non-consensual group sex (he is not untouched early on, so proceed with caution if that's a trigger); the author loves melodrama.

The ending returns to the modern world. The historical storyline has a bad ending, while the modern storyline is one-on-one with her husband.

A universally adored love interest, but pursued in a degrading manner. There will be some physical hurt inflicted on him.

I posted this idea on Weibo before. The post went up on March 16, 2024.
