Emei accepts women only, regardless of birth, and its disciples are free to come and go.

Chu Wenjun always thought that, like all the other noblewomen, she would marry into a well-matched and powerful family when she came of age, managing the household and serving her husband and children just as her mother did.

Many years later, when Chu Wenjun became Emei's chief elder, remembering her younger self felt like waking from a dream.

A wuxia ensemble drama about women.
