Her Story with Her (GL)

A story about two childhood friends growing up alongside the times. Yang Jia and Qian Yuan were born on the same day in 1980. They’re neighbors. Since childhood, they’ve ridden the same coin-operated rocking horse, shared clothes, gone to the same primary school, and grown up together. They grow from innocent little girls into teenagers discovering romance, then spend the long years ahead learning to understand and love each other, facing social problems shaped by the times and their own different family struggles. They were born in the year of Reform and Opening Up, growing up alongside China and Shanghai. They witness the progress of the times and the transformation of people’s attitudes. This is their story, and our story!
