Story blurb:
One morning during the happy yet painful summer break of her final year of high school, Ryoko woke up to find two eggs in her futon.
After spending ten seconds confirming that she was a real human being and not some kind of egg-laying animal, Ryoko was about to scream at the top of her lungs when a tiny person flew out of a purple-blue egg as its shell cracked. The scream was forced right back down her throat. "Huh?"
After the tiny flying person, Trunks, introduced himself, Ryoko was dubious. "You mean that, even though you're a boy, you're actually my ideal self?! My ideal is to become a boy?!"
"From the knowledge that appeared in my head, which doesn't belong to me, that's how Guardian Characters are defined." Trunks shrugged. He was just as unsure of what was going on. "But I have all the memories of my past life. I'm definitely not a Guardian Character in the truest sense."
Ryoko pursed her lips and looked at the other egg, which hadn't moved at all and was mainly orange and blue. "Do you know the character inside this egg?"
"Going by the colors, it should be Goten, since he and I grew up together," Trunks said. "It could also be Gohan, or Uncle Goku."
"So who is it?"
"Who knows? We'll find out when they hatch."
"Anyway, I hope we'll get along." Trunks held out his tiny hand. "And if you could help me figure out how to get back to normal and find a way home, that would be even better."
Ryoko managed a strained smile. "I'll do my best."
After that, Ryoko felt like the world had gotten strange.
Also, why had the Tokito twins, who had been ordinary classmates in high school, suddenly become so familiar with her?
And why did they always have real swords with them when they went out at night? Was it because so many people had been mysteriously disappearing and dying lately?
Reader's note:
1. This is a passion project, and I haven't done any research.
Completed work: Bringing Cards to the Literary Writers' Liquor Factory
Theme: Leave the business of saving the world to college students
Every time I see this kind of comprehensive comic, I think more than once about how many times this world will be destroyed 🐶
Rubbish jj. My collection of books has mysteriously disappeared! If I hadn't looked through the comments, I wouldn't have known! And there are those inexplicably extra books!
It's 2024, and there are still articles about protecting my sweetheart. I'm in tears. I'm looking forward to it! 🤩
The one in the GT version is a grown-up Xiaote. He may not be particularly strong in combat, but he is a gentle and versatile CEO of the Capsule Company (?). The interview is not a problem.
