Three disciples from Little Chai Mountain Sect were sent down the mountain without warning.
They were still planning to plead their case when their junior brother knelt down. Perplexed, they wondered, "Do we have to kneel too?" and knelt alongside him.
The sect elders were shocked and hurried to explain. "What's this? Of course you're still disciples of Little Chai Mountain Sect! We're sending you down the mountain so you can gain experience."
The sect leader, who had caused the misunderstanding, nodded. "The sect competition takes place once every three years, and it's next year. You need to go gain experience first! Our sect is counting on you to carry on its legacy!"
"Could we go down the mountain next year instead?" Yao Sutang ventured.
"Of course not!" An elder waved a hand. "You're leaving right now!"
And so the three senior disciples were sent down the mountain without bringing a thing.
"...We didn't bring anything. What do we do?"
Wen Jizhi, who had money, said, "Why don't we go to my place and pick up a few things first?"
