As a fanatical, hardcore fan of the villains in Demon Slayer, Shumu Sen had a blast cosplaying them at conventions.
...But as battle-damaged versions.
Including, but not limited to:
Paralyzed Kokushibo, unable to stand or walk
Mute Doma, unable to speak
Blind Akaza, unable to see
Disabled Nakime, missing both arms
Daki, disfigured and orphaned after her brother's early death
After attending convention after convention, Shumu Sen's acting skills grew ever more polished.
So when he suddenly died and transmigrated, he could dutifully play his secret identities, too.
The good news: No more staying up all night fixing wigs and practicing cosplay makeup.
The bad news: He can't take them off.
If he could turn back time, Shumu Sen would never have let his angst-loving side take over and cosplayed the battle-damaged Upper Moons.
After all
How is a Kokushibo who can only sit in a wheelchair supposed to subdue the rebellious student Gojo Satoru?
How is a Doma who has lost his silver tongue supposed to persuade Geto Suguru during his obsessive phase?
How is a blind Akaza supposed to understand Inumaki Toge, the eccentric who speaks in rice-ball ingredients?
How is Daki, with her looks and fighting ability both greatly diminished, supposed to approach the strength-obsessed pretty boy Toji?
How is Nakime, unable to pluck even a single note on her biwa, supposed to avoid becoming a burden to the Zenin sisters?
And he'd still have to come up with suitable backstories for his secret identities, right?
Shumu Sen: ...Fine, fine, three, two, one, up to the rooftop!
With the fierce conviction that if he wasn't going to have a good time, then neither was anyone else, Shumu Sen decided to throw caution to the wind.
In the end, his secret identities died without even leaving behind a speck of ash.
Shumu Sen: Haha! Demons don't leave ashes!
At the same time, Shumu Sen realized something
Wait a minute!
How does he still have a battle-damaged Muzan secret identity, huh?!
The Author's Ramblings
1. This story has all the self-indulgence, satisfaction, beauty, strength, and tragedy you could want. There will definitely be plot holes.
2. While reading, I recommend repeatedly murmuring, "The author is an idiot, the author is an idiot." Don't take the author too seriously.
3. This story has a lot of liberties and original additions.
4. My kinks are out of control.
