[Cover image from Weibo user @SharkSharkPeople, exclusively purchased] Before he had even graduated from middle school, the naturally talkative Hibari Tokiya received an early acceptance letter from Inarizaki High School. He secretly made up his mind: he would stick to the sunny, cheerful boy persona no matter what. That is, if the muting System hadn't come after him. Forced to submit to the System's tyranny, Hibari Tokiya has no choice but to embark on the road to raising his reputation score so he can reclaim the right to speak freely and control his facial expressions. In short, he has to keep raising other people's affection for him, and, when necessary, play a smooth and confident show-off. So Hibari Tokiya joins the volleyball team, strongly recommended by his cousin Shimizu Kiyoko. Before long, he finds a loophole in the System. During matches, the crowd's enthusiasm quickly catches fire and their attention is completely focused, causing his reputation score to rise rapidly. But after the matches end, as the crowd's excitement cools, his reputation score quickly falls again. Does this mean that as long as he keeps playing, he'll be able to keep talking? Hibari Tokiya: So it's a bug exploit? That's what he's best at. Inarizaki is a high school famous throughout Japan for its powerful boys' volleyball team. On the first day of school, the volleyball club welcomes an unusual new member. The newcomer has an impressive resume packed with accomplishments. You could say he's "proficient in the four arts and skilled in everything." More importantly, everyone's first impression of him is that he's... Gloomy, melancholy, and cold toward others. Yet on the court, the newcomer named Hibari Tokiya acts completely differently from how he does in daily life... Talkative, cheerful, and boldly uninhibited. Everyone: ... Even Kita, who has seen plenty of problem children, silently breaks into a sweat. They believe that if they open their arms and welcome the newcomer with warmth and acceptance, they can change his heart. Hibari Tokiya, who keeps getting plied with food: ... He's really not suffering from a split personality, okay?! Far away in Namimori, his cousin, a certain head of the disciplinary committee, agrees wholeheartedly. P.S.: 1. The entire novel is already written, so you can follow along without worry. 2. It will include anime crossovers with the seafood company, Noragami, basketball, and psychic powers, but they won't take up much of the story. 3. The author has no volleyball experience. All theoretical knowledge comes from the original Haikyuu!! manga. 4. The pairing is tentatively with one of the twin setters. 5. The author's intelligence is questionable. If anything bothers you while reading, the characters are innocent; it's all the author's fault. 6. Recommendations from author friends: Can the Breath of Love Wreak Havoc in a Sports Anime? by Shi Du. The author is incredibly sweet! She'll let you pet her, hug her, and give her kisses! Hey, Classmate, Want to Play Tennis? by A Qi Bu Tian. There are two completed novels on the author's page for you to enjoy! Core theme: Build a beautiful school life.
