The Cat and Mouse Set's Rules

I haven’t decided what genre to write using this premise yet. Maybe rules-horror infinite flow? Anyway, I’m indulging myself, so I’ll post the blurb first.

Welcome to the Tom and Jerry production. Please read the following rules carefully and follow them strictly. Stay calm. These rules exist to keep you alive.

1. Cats are four-legged animals that can freely switch between walking on two legs and four. They have advanced engineering skills and are experts in drafting, art, chemistry, demolition, ███, mechanical repair, composing music, ████, and setting high-precision traps. Their abilities have no known limits.

Cats can assemble large, complex machinery with their bare hands, such as piano crushers, rocket boosters, and catapults. They can perform precision welding with a blowtorch in subzero conditions.

When attacked, cats enter an infinite adaptation mode, including but not limited to stretching, folding, splitting, vaporizing, carbonizing, and becoming two-dimensional.

2. Same as above for mice.

3. If the two kinds of animals come into conflict, leave the area immediately. (Note: Conflict is defined as any kind of accelerated movement, chain reaction, weapon construction, ████, or attack permitted by the script.)

4. All props in the production are legal cartoon objects and are not subject to the laws of real-world physics.

If you discover an explosion is about to occur, usually accompanied by the smell of gunpowder, a countdown clock, or unusual vibrations, flee immediately. After the explosion, the area will repair itself within 15 seconds.

If you cannot determine where the explosion will occur, follow the direction the characters around you are moving. They always know what is about to happen.

4. Any object may temporarily move, disappear, stretch, ███, ███, or ██ by itself at any time. Before using it, make sure there are no signs of an "animation error."

4. Do not attempt to leave the house. All doors and windows lead to different sets within this production. ████ is not among them.

The wallpaper, furniture, lighting, and other features inside the house may be adjusted at any time while the production is running. Do not show fear or surprise at these changes, or they may adjust you.

The background of this production may be made up of multiple animated shots. If you notice the same object, the same ███ corner, or the same █ appearing multiple times, ignore it. Do not try to find any differences.

4. There is exactly one cat and one mouse in this production. If you find more than that number, immediately. Immediately.
