I'm a fan of casual romance games.

I have no gaming instincts, and the hugely popular games of recent years, like King of Glory and PUBG, don't interest me at all.

Until one day, I was drawn in by a promotional video for a game that looked like a very ink-wash-style wuxia title, recommended to me by a certain website.

I rubbed my hands together, ready to download it.

Damn, iPhones have restrictions.

No matter, I still have my bestie!

Me: Babe, I'm tired of otome games.

Friend: Is Her Majesty ready to blaze a new trail?

Me: (sends picture) This game looks pretty interesting, and the character art is gorgeous, but...
