The Saniwa of Honmaru 1011 suffers from a peculiar mental illness. After a string of failed romances, she can no longer interact normally with men. Whenever one gets close, she breaks out in hives.
Only when living alongside the sword warriors can she free herself from her fear of men.
When the Temporal Government announces the [Night Duty Completion Plan], the Saniwa suddenly realizes that the tsukumogami she sees as comrades-in-arms and retainers naturally have male appearances. Given these forms, the cold swords have gained the same feelings as ordinary men: possessiveness, desire, love, and pain.
She is torn up about it, even breaking out in a red rash while working alongside her attendant.
Faced with a Saniwa who sees them only as fluffy subordinates, the tsukumogami protest: I'm a man-blade, too!
Saniwa: Is it too late to quit and run off to become a nun?
The sword warriors of Honmaru 1011 are very worried about their master's love life.
New arrival Yamanbagiri Chogi accidentally wanders into a secret gathering of sword warriors. "What are you plotting behind our master's back?"
Kiyomitsu sighs. "All the boys Aruji likes have rejected her confession because of their studies, careers, or sports, so now she doesn't dare get close to men. At the last training exercise, I saw another Saniwa dating three or four guys, while she's still never even had a boyfriend."
Higekiri smiles. "Why not use the new policy to help our mistress get used to being intimate with men?"
Hasebe sucks in a breath. "Whose night duty... No! I-if it's our master..."
Chogi: "Huh? Me?"
Mikazuki Munechika takes a delicate sip of tea. "Hahahahahaha."
After being forced to accept the facts, the Saniwa travels to the past to help the Temporal Government preserve history.
And so...
The one who rejected her because "modeling is exhausting, and I don't want to find a girlfriend for the long haul";
The one who answered her confession with, "I'm focused on tennis/go right now. I don't want to think about anything else";
The one who turned her down, saying, "I'm busy with work. If you dated me, you'd definitely go crazy";
The one who suddenly fell ill, insisted on an interspecies romance despite reproductive incompatibility, and nicknamed her "monkey";
The one who shouted, "I have to realize the justice in my heart!" and threw love away...
Watching her be called "Aruji," "Goshujin," and "Taisho" by the sword guys, then cuddle up with them in utter despair, seemingly engaging in some strange play with a whole group of men, the people whose confessions she had once rejected stare in shock.
- Anyway, I've changed my mind. I want to settle down as a househusband now/I already have a Grand Slam/I achieved my career goals/I'm done being a cult leader/I found justice... Do you still like me?
