This Fish Isn't Good at Housework

A life journal about an adorable beastkin cub and a lazy merfolk~

Xian Ning was a famous "lazy fish" with an orange tail in the Sea King's Palace.

Ever since the System told him that his capable, clever brothers were scattered across the stars too, the burden of their mission had naturally fallen right off his shoulders. If he dawdled for a while, the others would have finished everything already. Why bother making all that effort? Was the ocean current not rocking him comfortably enough, or was the seafood buffet not good enough?

When Xian Ning opened his eyes and found himself in a nursery that was about to go bankrupt, he was at a loss.

Tsk! The stars were short on seafood, he had landed on a remote land planet, and the whole room was full of hungry little cubs... The System only packed him one bucket of fish a day. That was the limit!

The new director, Xian Ning, gloomily rolled over, only to discover with delight that he hadn't landed in a reformatory, but in a nest full of sweet little snail cubs.

Right! Let me state this again: this lazy fish is absolutely not exploiting child labor!

The only job the director of the Azure Adoption Center had each day was to count his cubs before mealtime and bask in the pride of successfully raising them.

Until one day, he asked, "What? Space pirates want to relive their childhood here?"

The extra fox cub grinned. "Yeah. I want to relive my parents' love story, and put it into practice."

Xian Ning: "..."

He really wanted to refuse, but a big snail star pirate was just so appealing!

"As long as it isn't tiring," Xian Ning stressed.

Theme: Cubs should learn to stand on their own, but grown-up fish shouldn't give up either!
