This Mermaid Doesn't Play by the Rules

The merfolk king's palace was destroyed in an attack by the dark beasts. Fuguang, who had fought to the very last moment, opened her eyes and found herself transformed into a famous nepo baby at Abyss Military Academy.

Slow to react, terrible grades, and worst of all, she stubbornly underwent merfolk modification to chase after junk. It failed, making her the biggest joke of the year in the forums' pinned posts...

With a tap of her finger, she closed the article. The most vicious hunter of the deep sea gave a cold smile.

You weak land-dwellers! From this moment on, I'll show you what true terror is!

Watching Fuguang rise through the ranks, take command of the Empire's military forces, and march her troops to the gates of the dark beasts' city, the System broke down in tears.

"What's wrong with that? This is my finest, sharpest sword."

Ivier stroked the fiery-red tail veil that flowed like flames, only to get an unceremonious smack from Fuguang's tail. "This is a military partnership. Don't go making a scene and claiming we're involved."

"Of course, Your Highness." Ivier turned her face aside with a smile. Her silver-white dragon tail emerged and coiled around the mermaid, leaving no room for refusal. "Tomorrow, I'll go ask the esteemed merfolk king for your hand in marriage."

Fuguang: "..."

Damn it! Once again, she had lost to sheer shamelessness!
