Ning Kong had a dream. In it, a peerless villain ruled everything, killing countless people and acting like a full-blown sociopath. Every ABO who had ever crossed him was tortured until they wished they were dead.
When the last person finally breathed their last under his blade, the villain turned toward Ning Kong. The blade reflected a sinister sneer as he swung it at him.
Then Ning Kong was woken by his teacher.
"Wake up. This is your new deskmate."
A new deskmate?
Ning Kong rubbed his sleepy eyes and took a look. Well, would you look at that! The peerless villain!
And the high school version, too!
Ning Kong: Got it! I must still be dreaming. (Lies back down and goes to sleep again.)
Villain: ? ... Hilarious.
The timeline in his dream had been much later, and it never mentioned that the villain had once been his deskmate. After careful thought, Ning Kong decided to keep his distance and draw a clear line between them.
Ning Kong: Don't worry. From now on, we won't interfere with each other. You can kill and burn as much as you want. I won't say a single bad thing about you.
Villain: ... You're nuts.
By graduation, Ning Kong hadn't exchanged a single word with his deskmate. He'd even bought a ticket to flee to the countryside, congratulating himself on avoiding any time with the villain.
Who could have guessed the villain was going back to his hometown too, on the very same train?
And, as luck would have it, their seats were right next to each other.
Ning Kong: I'm doomed.
Villain: ... Stop avoiding me. You've been doing it for four years. Am I some kind of monster?
The villain wasn't a monster, but he'd picked a fight with a whole pack of them. He was taking this train to his hometown to lie low.
To evade his enemies, who were hunting him before the train departed, the villain grabbed Ning Kong in a panic and pretended they were lovers, kissing him passionately. At such close range, a honey-sweet scent flooded Ning Kong's nose.
The more he breathed it in, the hotter and redder he became. It was caused by the pheromones released by an omega.
Ning Kong, an alpha: ???
Wait a second. What are you?
Bro, four years went by, and nobody told him the villain was an O!
Also known as: Nobody told me the villain liked me, either.
I'm terrible at blurbs. Basically, it's a little unrequited-love story where you chase and I run. (I really do love writing stories where the bottom has a crush on the top and the top doesn't realize it.)
Thesis: When you see injustice, you should still draw your sword to help.
