I Picked Up the Wrong Dog at the Pet Shop and Reunited with My Ex

After taking "Princess" to a pet shop for a bath, Qi Miao felt that her dog had become much more composed. It no longer gobbled down its kibble as if it had been starving for ages, and it no longer acted like having its nails clipped would be the death of it.

Aside from still being as clingy as ever, all of "Princess's" changes made Qi Miao feel relieved.

Qi Miao simply thought her "Princess" had grown up and matured.

That is, until one day, while walking in the park...

She met a dog that looked exactly like "Princess."

The dog started barking at her as soon as it saw her. When its owner let go of the leash, it bounded toward her, its tail whipping around like a propeller.

Great. So familiar. This was definitely the "Princess" she remembered.

She looked down at the two nearly identical dogs fawning around her legs, then looked up at the familiar face strolling toward her at an unhurried pace, playing with a leash. Countless jumbled thoughts sprang into her mind.

She had probably, maybe, most likely picked up the wrong dog.

But why was the dog she'd picked up her ex-boyfriend's?
