Encountering a Mermaid

Tao Tao is a little merfolk who loves reading more than anything. One day, he found a copy of A Short Record of Myths that had drifted across the sea, its cover faded slightly yellow with age. It said, "Eat Tang Seng's flesh, and you can live forever." As luck would have it, the infamous interstellar tyrant on humanity's side was named Tang Sen. By a bit of a stretch, eating the tyrant's flesh would let him live forever. Curious about Tang Seng's flesh, Tao Tao immediately came up with a plan: find a chance to sneak a bite of the legendary Tang Sen flesh. . The youngest tyrant in the galaxy was as handsome as a god, but cruel by nature. Only those closest to him knew that he suffered from manic episodes and could only ease their torment by soaking in cold water from time to time. They say the merfolk's singing is the only cure for mania. Unfortunately, merfolk exist only in legends, and no one in the world has ever had the chance to see one. . One day, while the tyrant was bathing in the waters of his own domain, a fuzzy little head suddenly popped up beside him. Its owner had clear eyes and an innocent look, but was bold and reckless in her actions. While he wasn't paying attention, she sank her teeth into his chin. The tyrant opened his eyes dangerously, with a bite mark on his chin. Caught red-handed sneaking a taste of Tang Seng's flesh, the little mermaid steeled herself and held out her pale arm. "Fine, you can bite me too." The tyrant's gaze swept over the little mermaid's beautiful golden tail. He ran his tongue over his lips and smiled with interest. "All right." Later The tyrant coaxed her, "Be good. One more bite." The little mermaid sobbed, "N-no... no more." No matter how good Tang Seng's flesh was, eating too much could still be bad for you.
