The doctor predicts that Grandma has at most six months left to live. Sang Luo decides to quit her job and return to her long-abandoned hometown, to spend Grandma's last six months with her.
However, in the second month after Sang Luo returns, Grandma attempts suicide by taking sleeping pills. During the rescue, the police arrive at the door, and Sang Luo sees Sheng Ke, her childhood friend.
