Drowning Together

Fu Li is cold and apathetic, always thinking, "What's it to me? What's it to you?" Shen Zhui is a taciturn, cool guy, the classic example of someone whose words are tough but whose heart is soft.

But when these two aloof beauties meet: "Teacher, this mischievous fun-lover and this lovestruck ball of sunshine aren't our aloof-beauty couple, are they?"

When Fu Li tries to cast herself adrift, she is cold and despondent, shutting everyone else out. Shen Zhui thinks he's fished a lost moon from the water, only to discover later that the moon was the one who saved him.

As graduation approaches, pressure from every direction leaves Shen Zhui gasping for breath. He not only drinks heavily but avoids Fu Li, and his friends' repeated attempts to talk him out of it come to nothing. Until one day, Fu Li shows up at his door.

Everyone thinks she's there to talk some sense into him. Instead, Fu Li sets a bottle of fine red wine on the table and says lightly, "I heard this one tastes good."

Shen Zhui stares at her, stunned. Fu Li tilts her head and asks, as casually as ever, "Want to try it?"

Years later, their friends marvel that theirs is a love worthy of the immortals, while watching the couple now go wherever the wife leads, both of them shameless schemers.

Friend: This is definitely not an aloof-beauty couple!
