Nightfall Sees You

English title: Turn Off The Moon

Department store owner VS television producer

Years later, when asked what Tong Yuhe meant to her, Wu You would answer: He was the one who gave her wings.

To find an excuse to get close to Tong Yuhe again, Wu You spent nearly half a year holed up in the library studying the history of the late Qing dynasty.

Later, during an argument, Tong Yuhe asked her, "The belle of C University's accounting department, spending the second semester of her junior year studying late Qing history in the library. Was it really because you liked it?"

Wu You was startled. "You knew?"

Tong Yuhe slowly turned the white Marlboro cigarette case in his hand, his piercing gaze settling on her face. "Is there anything about you I don't know?"

He taught her to ride a horse, helped her set up a radio show to soothe people to sleep, and, in the northernmost place he could take her, set off fireworks that lit up half the city...

Wu You had imagined that one day, when her affair with Tong Yuhe became a subject of idle gossip, it would sound like the cliched story of some wealthy Beijing man and a college girl. But when she finally put pen to paper and wrote of an autumn night in the capital, she found that the man in her story had taught her respect and tenderness.

Tong Yuhe's love was like a sustained-release pill, running steadily through ten years of her life.

Tong Yuhe, will you marry me?

I will love you.

I will always love you.

Don't sing parting songs to those who leave; she has a bewitching charm that cannot be resisted.

Old friends have always faced many forked roads. You head for Xiaoxiang, while I go to Qin.
