Ren Ji: Hahaha.
The evil third male lead makes a green-tea-style remark, saying he accidentally saw Ren Ji drug someone.
Ren Ji: It wasn't an accident.
But wait, the person who got drugged was the big villain?
The Flower City system needs the protagonist's sexy energy to recharge.
But everyone knows that if the top and bottom in a Green River story get sexy, they'll be locked in a little black room.
The big villain is the power bank Ren Ji worked so hard to find. One go can fill his battery all the way up!
Ren Ji lightly sweeps his tongue over his lower lip and projects evidence of the third male lead drugging someone onto the big screen.
Amid a chorus of gasps, he tosses the antidote bottle into the trash, then takes a stumble so obviously deliberate that anyone can tell, and falls into Gu Xunyan's arms.
His cool hand presses against the man's burning chest. He tilts his head back, revealing a perfect curve, his lashes trembling.
"Oops, the antidote's gone. You're doomed ^o^."
So hurry up and recharge with me, hehehehe!
He can't hold back the last two giggles, and they slip out. The bot seems to have secretly switched to manual mode.

Gu Xunyan gets bound to a student named Ren Ji.
Ren Ji says things like "Let's form a contract," which sounds a lot like asking to be kept, yet he asks for nothing and keeps pushing Gu Xunyan away.
"He's so cute. How can you not fall for him?"
"What's wrong with having a meal with him? It's not like it'll kill you."
"Seriously, are you even capable of this...?"
At last, on a rainy night, Gu Xunyan can't take it anymore and traps him between his arms and the floor-to-ceiling window.
"Wait!"
Ren Ji's eyes, faintly red at the corners, are reflected in the glass. He pushes the man away.
"When I said wireless charging, I meant you and someone else, "
"I don't know what kind of kink this is," Gu Xunyan says, reaching through his arms to pin him in place, "but I only want to charge with you, wired."
From then on, Gu Xunyan thinks of it as their little bedroom game. It isn't until he discovers Ren Ji's secret that he understands Ren Ji meant charging in the literal, physical sense.
He was nothing but a tool.
Gu Xunyan catches Ren Ji after he finishes his mission and tries to run, then bites his burning earlobe, his expression dark and menacing. "Baby, how about I punish you today by making your CPU overheat?"
