Three days later, the cursed spirit, which should have died in the final battle, awoke in a basement. A living boy stood before it.

He had come back with hatred for the cursed spirit and an uncountable number of golden fingers.

#Rather than romance, theirs is a bond of companionship and obsession that clings on until death.
#The ending is happy, and everyone gets a happy ending.
#It inherits the setting of "Real Teachings Online: Rewriting the Script." They still transmigrate across different timelines, and later they'll spend some time in their own world.
#Cursed spirits think differently from humans, and their values don't align.
#Both male leads have some mental health issues.
#There are a few personal additions to the setting. Mahito's ideals are somewhat OOC, which can be understood as insights and changes brought about by having experienced death once.
#There's a tiny bit of replacement-romance fiction, but the feelings are still directed at the person themselves.
