Is This Your House? Do You Own the Place?

Yan Nanchu, who grew up overseas, is tricked into returning to China by his older brother, who gets him to move in with Lu Huaizhi, his sworn enemy.

At their first meeting, Yan Nanchu assumes Lu Huaizhi lives at his brother's house, and boldly declares, "Your bedroom is mine from now on."

Lu Huaizhi's expression turns icy. "Is this your house?"

Yan Nanchu tilts his head. "What's yours or mine about it? Once I move in, it's my home."

It's not his house, but it belongs to his brother. What's wrong with him taking the master bedroom?

Lu Huaizhi immediately calls Yan Beiyu and tells him to come take his crazy little brother home.

After moving in, Yan Nanchu finds out that his brother lied to him and is too embarrassed to face Lu Huaizhi.

To make up for it, he decides to be nice to him.

Yan Nanchu sidles up to Lu Huaizhi and gazes at him eagerly. "Lu Huaizhi, want some fruit? I'll cut it for you. I know how to arrange a fruit platter."

Lu Huaizhi smiles faintly. "It's your home, after all. I wouldn't dare order you around, young master."

Yan Nanchu: ...

Yan Nanchu tugs on Lu Huaizhi's sleeve, tilts his head up, and says in a clingy voice, "Lu Huaizhi, I made a pot of instant noodles. Want some?"

"I don't eat junk food." Lu Huaizhi opens a cookbook, deciding he needs to straighten out Yan Nanchu's eating habits.

Yan Nanchu wakes up at noon and sees that Lu Huaizhi is still home. His eyes light up, and he rushes over to sit beside him, bubbling with excitement. "Lu Huaizhi, are you off work today? I'm making little cakes this afternoon. You can taste them."

Lu Huaizhi is silent for a moment, then agrees with a quiet, "Mm."

How did Yan Beiyu end up with such a sweet little brother? He's nothing like his insufferable self.

A friend teases him. "Anyone who didn't know better would think you were pursuing him."

One day, a coworker notices Lu Huaizhi beaming and jokes, "Working for them isn't enough? Are you planning to marry into the Yan family too?"

Lu Huaizhi: That sounds like a pretty good idea.
