I Got Rich Before I Even Found a Job

(In one sentence: An unexpected windfall for a new graduate. Graduate without being unemployed, and take off into a happy life!)

Synopsis: Waaaah, it's so hard for new graduates to find jobs!

As a fresh graduate, this year's job market is heartbreaking. I even agreed to go to South Africa, and they still sent me a rejection letter. Help! How hard do I have to work to avoid graduating straight into unemployment?

Memorizing answers, doing practice questions, written tests, interviews...

Aaaaaah, I haven't even finished my thesis!

I haven't found a job, and my advisor yelled at me too. Waaaah, I can't take this anymore!

I'm exhausted. I'll go home and rest, then start fighting again after the holiday.

Wait, what's in this box?

Aaaaaah, I'm rich! Thank you, ancestors! Thank you for leaving me this inheritance! And thank you to myself for having nothing better to do and going back home!

Woohoo, happiness!

--A few little moments of sudden wealth--

! First time at Haidilao

"Come on, girls, let's go!" The four of us happily rushed toward Haidilao.

"You three beauties, eat whatever you want. It's on me! Let's really dig in while we can still get 31% off before graduation!" I eagerly placed our order on the tablet. Now that I had money, I didn't even look at the prices before adding things to the cart.

The four of us ate enthusiastically for two hours.

! Second time at Haidilao

"Come on, let's go get hot pot!" The four of us strolled leisurely toward Haidilao.

The four of us spent about two hours wolfing down our food.

! Third time at Haidilao

"Come on, eat more! Don't worry about saving me money!" Full and satisfied, I put down my chopsticks and warmly urged my friends to hurry up and enjoy the hot pot.

An hour later, the three people beside me were clutching their stomachs and slumped in their seats like corpses, muttering, "No more, no more. I never want to eat this again!"

! Fourth time at Haidilao

"Aaaaaah, I can't do this! We've already eaten Haidilao three times this week. I'm getting sick of it!" Xiao Liu finally spoke up.

Hmm, fair point. "Then let's get grilled fish! It's Friday, so there's a special deal today."

"Let's go!"
