They looked up and saw Shi Yuling's big tears falling on cue. He grabbed the man's arm and immediately burst into tears.

Choking back sobs, he said, "You know I've had a hard life since I was little. I never had enough to eat or warm clothes to wear. My dad didn't care about me, and my mom didn't love me. When I came to you, you were the only one who was good to me..."

Wait, man, you've been pulling this act on us behind our backs every day?

They turned to see the man's expression visibly soften. He began checking whether the bodyguards had hurt Shi Yuling when they grabbed him.
