The Cutest Height Difference

Because Qiao Weiwei is short, she's had to put up with all of this growing up:

1. She always has to stand at the front during morning exercises.

2. Whenever the class gets assigned seats, she's always put in the front row.

3. This is the most annoying one: there's always some mischievous boy in class who uses his height as an excuse to pat her on the head and call her “Shorty.”

That third thing has made Qiao Weiwei dislike tall people for a long time.

Later, she meets a particularly tall boy who changes her mind about tall people. Here's why:

1. He never calls her short. He only says she's cute.

2. He offers to get things from places she can't reach.

3. Most importantly, right in front of her, he presses down on the head of the boy who used to bully her and seriously calls him “Shorty.”
