The Ghost Sister Always Wants to Cuddle Up to Me

She wants to hold hands while sleeping, cuddle and hug at every opportunity, and even hooks Yuanchu's chin and teases her ear until she's blushing bright red every time!

Yuanchu doesn't say so, but she secretly loves it. When the ghost woman doesn't cuddle her, Yuanchu even reminds her in a shy, hesitant voice:

"I haven't earned today's Yin Coins yet..."

That's right, the ghost woman cuddles her only to earn money for reincarnation. Yuanchu is a good girl. When she finds out, she doesn't feel deceived. Instead, she happily agrees to help and enjoys it immensely.

The human and the ghost live under the same roof and get along wonderfully. But then they encounter a strange woman who talks in riddles and insists that Yuanchu return to life...

Ever since meeting this woman, it seems some sort of conspiracy has ensnared them, binding their fates ever tighter. Even as they struggle amid schemes and countermeasures, they find they can no longer let go of each other's hands...

Bonus scene (in Chapter 13):

After being teased into heart failure yet again, Yuanchu gathers her courage and awkwardly speaks up.

Yuanchu: "A-are you flirting with me?"

Mo Li hooks a finger into Yuanchu's collar and pulls her closer, speaking almost against her lips. "Why would I flirt with a blockhead like you, A-Chu?"

Yuanchu's heart breaks down all over again.

Note:

- Things get angsty later, but it has a happy ending.

- When the two are together, the little Taoist is the softer one. The rest of the time, it's anyone's guess who gets the upper hand.

- The little Taoist is weaker at first, but that changes later. She's not a naive, helpless sweetheart.

In the end, Yu Jin takes her to a hotel. Xie Junyu grips Yu Jin's hand and, just like three years ago, leans by her ear and calls her "big sister."

Xie Junyu: "Big sister, big sister, want to do it?"

Yu Jin tosses her onto the bed and runs away.

Not long afterward, Xie Junyu learns from Yu Jin's Weibo that her department is hiring interns. She makes one phone call and ends up appearing right in front of Yu Jin.

Yu Jin stares at Xie Junyu's employee badge. "...You're the new intern?"

Xie Junyu ignores her and deliberately takes the hand of the person behind Yu Jin. "Big sister, is this your company...?"

Yu Jin glances over at them again and again, saying nothing.

Later, an unprecedented downpour hits S City. Xie Junyu gives up her apartment in an upscale complex and moves to an urban village. As expected, the place gets completely flooded. Unable to watch her struggle, Yu Jin invites her to stay for a few days.

Xie Junyu acts even sweeter and more helpless. Yu Jin grows softer toward her by the day, until at last she can't bear to be without her, just as Xie Junyu wanted.

So this is what Yu Jin is like when she knows how to love someone...

Xie Junyu is on the verge of falling for her again. When she's about to lose control, she says the whole thing was a setup, all to get revenge. But Yu Jin neither argues nor makes a scene. She simply pulls Xie Junyu onto the bed, grabs her by the collar, and smiles in a way that feels utterly unfamiliar. "What makes you think you're the only one who set a trap?"

"Little Junyu, did you like my Weibo?"
