Third-person narration
A colossal rift split open, and people called it the Abyss. After that, humanity began to mutate over the course of thousands of years. Those with supernatural abilities could travel to the ends of the earth and soar through the sky, while Mo Bai was widely recognized as the strongest of them all. He had entered the Abyss. Not only that, he had returned unharmed, bringing along a tiny Klein-blue octopus.
I woke up in pain. Black slime had wrapped tightly around all my tentacles. It was disgusting, and it hurt.
So I tore my tentacles free and crawled out. I found a human.
The human who brought me out smelled wonderful. I liked him very much.
Sometimes he got grumpy and snapped at me, but he never did more than scold me.
He told me to call him Daddy.
He fed me dried fish.
He held me while I slept.
His name was Mo Bai. I liked him very much.
One day, he came down with a fever. He was miserable, so I tried to cool him down. He seemed to like my tentacles very much.
His mouth was very hot, just like the rest of his body.
After that day, I secretly slipped into his bed every night, until one day he caught me.
He held one of my tentacles as if he were angry. He discovered the reproductive tentacle I'd carefully hidden away. Just as his face darkened and he was about to snap it off, I panicked and turned into a human.
My powers hadn't fully recovered yet, so I could only take the form of a little kid.
After that, Mo Bai wouldn't let me call him Daddy anymore. He told me to call him Big Brother.
It didn't matter what I called him. Whatever his name was, I liked Mo Bai.
I told Mo Bai I was afraid of the dark. I knew he was softhearted, so I kept sleeping in his bed, this time out in the open.
But one day, I accidentally revealed my adult form. I liked Mo Bai so much that I couldn't hold back and tied him up.
My tentacles had never been so close to Mo Bai. The searing heat almost melted them, and I wanted to push every one of them inside him.
But I didn't, because Mo Bai was crying.
I pulled back the tentacles wrapped around him, and the one I'd put in his mouth. I wanted him to stop crying. I wanted to comfort him.
But all he said was one word: "Get out."
Mo Bai stopped talking to me, and I was driven out. I lingered outside his door for three days, but he never opened it.
The little monster had no home anymore.
I returned to the Abyss. The black liquid was still disgusting, and it still hurt when it stuck to me, but I wasn't as afraid as I used to be.
I mingled with those disgusting things and fell into a deep sleep.
A very, very long time later, I heard Mo Bai's voice.
He stood amid the disgusting, writhing liquid and glared at me. My eyes stung, and for some reason, tears fell.
Then I saw the fierce look on Mo Bai's face suddenly change. He rushed over in slight panic and hugged my face. I heard him say, "You idiot! I told you to get out, and you really did? Couldn't you have said something sweet, begged me, or acted cute? Why are you crying?"
Mo Bai had come to get me. I was so happy. I had also discovered another one of his weaknesses: he couldn't stand to see me cry.
No matter how outrageous I'd been the night before, if I shed a couple of tears the next morning, Mo Bai would forgive me.
That trick never failed. I could hold Mo Bai while we slept every day again.
Until...
On the pitch-black bed, the young man trembled. Beside him, a tentacle that had been forced to withdraw curled around a crystal-clear egg that had not yet been pushed inside.
Mo Bai...
I was trying to squeeze out tears again.
But this time it didn't work. Mo Bai, panting, shot me a glare, clutched his bloated, aching belly, and walked to the bathroom on trembling legs.
That night, Mo Bai, the strongest Sentinel who claimed to fear nothing, had nightmares all night. In his dreams, a group of little octopuses fought over who got to call him Daddy!
Character notes: The bottom is quite sensitive and suffers from skin hunger for the top. He's the strongest fighter around, but turns to mush at the top's touch.
