One boring day, a strange system called the "Popularity Character Simulator" came knocking at your door.
System (in a passionate, fired-up voice): Let's create a persona, start a simulated life, earn popularity points, and become a popular character loved by players!!!
You: Sounds interesting. Let's do it to kill some time.
And so, the dark tale that shook the world, "The Player Is Launching the Simulator," made its grand debut.
Scene One:
"The overconfident player: Earn popularity points? I get it. It's all about shipping, right? If you're going to love someone, go all in. Trailblazer, for you, I'll go charge into a tree, aaahhh!!!
System: Stop! This world doesn't need another Otto counterpart!"
Scene Two:
"Player (choosing traits): I am Nidhogg, the Black King, one of the twins upon the throne. My elder brother and I love and hate each other. Send me fifty...
System: Dragon... No, wait, the name Nidhogg... Don't tell me you've got your eye on the Tree of Existence too."
Scene Three:
"Player: Rainbow-colored hair flowing in the breeze, jewel-like eyes sparkling. Born of Beauty, taken in by Elation, yet an Emanator of Abundance, with Harmony as my playable path. I am Mary Sue, and I speak for myself.
System: Isn't this character's background a little too complicated?"
Scene Four:
"The beloved regular of the Trailblazers' favorite doujin genre, their go-to smut tool: the Aeon of Propagation, Fish Ball and Tapioca, has arrived in all its glory. Give birth! Anyone can give birth!
System: Leave the Vidyadhara alone!"
System (accusing you through tears): You're just playing around! You haven't put any effort into earning popularity points!
But why? Why is this character being discussed so much on the forums? Wait, what! There are actually people who are fans of the personas this character made up on a whim!!!

* This is a simulator-style story. The player uses secret identities to simulate lives, with each simulation lasting anywhere from three or four chapters to ten.
* The author's tastes are complicated, and the story will mash together all sorts of strange things.
* The protagonist will have both male and female secret identities, and will deliberately play up bromance, eroticism, and yuri for popularity points, though nothing will be too explicit. The only person the protagonist has ever clearly expressed love for is the Trailblazer.
* At heart, this is a fun story about the Fourth Catastrophe. The protagonist puts their own enjoyment first.
* There will be forum sections showing the Trailblazer's reactions to the player's secret identities, but probably not many.
Core theme: I sincerely love popularity points
