The Stray Beastman I Picked Up Is a Federal General

Sang Li found an unconscious, homeless beastman at her front door.

The beastman had feline ears and a tall build. He was covered in blood and grime, knew nothing when questioned, and seemed to have lost his memory after a head injury.

"Judging by the shape of your beast ears, you must have feline blood, right?"

When Lu Shiye woke, the first thing he saw was a long-haired girl carrying a bowl of chicken soup noodles. She smiled warmly, dimples faint on her lips.

He licked his dry lips and squeezed out a sound he would never have thought himself capable of making.

"Meow?"

The beastman she'd picked up ate a lot, but he was strong too, and could do some hard labor.

And those fluffy cat ears on his head were pretty fun to pet...

Sang Li reluctantly took him in.

The disappearance of the general was the highest-level secret in the entire Federation.

The top leaders were frantic, like ants on a hot pan. They mobilized half the Federation to conduct a covert search, and finally found the general's trail at a remote city port that was practically a slum.

The general, who had dominated the battlefield and whose very surname struck fear into enemy troops, was now wearing a cheap, tight tank top and hauling sandbags at the docks, drenched in sweat.

The leaders watched from a distance for quite a while before daring to approach and make themselves known.

But before they could say a word, he threw them to the ground with a shoulder throw.

"Trying to steal my money again? Guess I didn't hit you hard enough last time."

"General, please let us expla, "

"Big Meow, come home for dinner."

A clear, gentle female voice called from afar, and he immediately stopped his fist. "Lucky for you. Get lost."

Then he vanished from sight, taking off like the wind.

The leaders, beaten so badly they couldn't get up, grimaced in pain, their heads full of questions.

No way, General. Why is she calling you Big Meow???
