Later, on the night the comet appeared, seventeen-year-old Gojo Satoru met a strange girl who made his heart race. Her eyes were wrapped in specially made bandages, so he couldn't make out her face. But at that innocent age, he had already decided she was the one, and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
If it was a dream, why had every moment with her felt so real?
After he returned to his original world, time had not shifted by even a fraction.
No matter how hard he tried, he never found another chance to enter that parallel world. There wasn't even a trace of another her in this world.
It was not until ten years later that twenty-seven-year-old Gojo Satoru finally met her again.
“Why?”
His question was almost cold. Facing the girl bound by chains in the interrogation room, the joy of their reunion was wholly replaced by a sense of estrangement, as if they were two different people.
“I had to get back something that belongs to me, so I came.”
