Gentle, teasing teacher top X beautiful, loyal guard bottom
When Xiang Chen woke up, he found himself in an unfamiliar, humble thatched hut.
He had forgotten a great deal. He only vaguely remembered that he was a bodyguard for a wealthy family in the city, and that he'd been gravely wounded and lost consciousness while carrying out a mission.
The person who saved him was Shang Mingting, the village schoolteacher.
Shang Mingting was as elegant as an orchid or a jade tree, with a gentle nature and a voice as warm as a spring breeze.
Xiang Chen knew Shang Mingting treated him well. While his injuries were healing, Shang Mingting helped him wash and change his bandages every day, and did his laundry and cooking for him.
Shang Mingting also taught him to read. Unfortunately, Xiang Chen was never cut out for books. While Shang Mingting patiently taught him, he could only think about how to find his master. He hadn't completed his mission, and was deeply worried that he might have caused trouble for his master.
