Naturally wicked disciple gong X gentle, emotionless-dao master shou
"Of the three thousand Great Dao, the path of emotionlessness is mine, and you must cultivate your own path."
(A note to record an idea. The blurb will be polished later.)
At birth, the gong was given this fate by a fortune-teller: An evil star descends upon the world, bringing calamity to his family and disaster to all living beings.
In just a few short years after his birth, his mother died and his father abandoned him. The neighbors believed the fortune-teller's prediction even more and despised him.
He could only survive by stealing.
One day, he was caught stealing someone else's steamed bun and beaten. Because of his wicked reputation, the man beat him especially harshly.
The shou happened to pass by and paid the man back on the gong's behalf.
The shou was the first person besides his mother to treat the gong kindly.
So the gong followed him all the way, ignoring his refusals.
The shou had no choice but to say, "In that case, would you be willing to become my disciple?"
The gong thought, He must be treating me so kindly because he doesn't know my wicked reputation.
He nodded, all the while thinking he absolutely mustn't let him find out.
"Master, what does 'close family' mean? Are you one of my close family?"
