Jiang Zhi falls in love at first sight with his new roommate.
The other guy is tall and handsome, and has no messy rumors surrounding him.
He's cold toward everyone else, but treats Jiang Zhi really well: he accompanies him to the infirmary, gets him meals, and meets him after class...
More importantly, he's into the same gender as Jiang Zhi.
His friend sums it up like this: Go for it!
So Jiang Zhi gets carried away and starts pursuing him:
He crosses half the campus to invite him to eat together.
He goes with him to play ball at the gym.
He buys him his favorite snacks.
He goes with him to a cosplay convention...
The other guy is exactly Jiang Zhi's type, and they have a great time together.
The only thing Jiang Zhi worries about is that, even though they're close, there's no sign of any romantic tension.
After dropping hints, Jiang Zhi decides to turn up the heat:
At a classmate's birthday party, he downs a few drinks, then takes advantage of being drunk to climb into the other guy's bed and lie beside him.
But the other guy worries he'll be uncomfortable sleeping there and thoughtfully switches to another bed.
Jiang Zhi: “.”
After a painful reckoning, Jiang Zhi carefully searches for the reason, only to hear by chance that the other guy might be straight.
Damn!
He got it wrong.
Thinking back on all his attempts to pursue him, Jiang Zhi is so embarrassed he could dig a hole with his toes. He hastily packs his things and signs up for a group tour to clear his head.

Lu Cijing seems to have fallen for his new roommate.
The other guy is handsome, kind, and perfect in every way. He's just a little slow on the uptake when it comes to romance.
Afraid of scaring him off, Lu Cijing decides to take things slowly and win him over bit by bit.
He never expects the other guy to suddenly start avoiding him one day.
He can't get him to eat with him, can't catch him at the dorm, and now he's even signed up for a tour. Seeing him has become next to impossible.
Lu Cijing goes over everything carefully, still unable to figure out why, and decides to go after him and ask him directly.
When they meet, Jiang Zhi is getting relationship advice from a vendor in a tourist town, the kind that costs fifteen yuan per person.
Sitting on a tiny stool with his face in his hands, Jiang Zhi sighs sadly. “I like a straight guy. How am I supposed to get over him?”
Lu Cijing's heart sinks. He can barely stop himself from rushing over, grabbing him, and demanding, “Who do you like?”

After they get together, Jiang Zhi goes over all the ways he pursued Lu Cijing, only for Lu Cijing to question each one in turn:
“Wasn't I the one who crossed half the campus to find you and eat with you?”
“At the gym, which one of us was the one who wanted to play ball? You even got my number wrong during our only basketball game.”
“Who ended up eating the snacks?”
“Who got so excited at the cosplay convention that they lost me?”
Jiang Zhi... Jiang Zhi turns bright red and can't help covering Lu Cijing's mouth.
Then he's pinned in Lu Cijing's arms and kissed thoroughly, and the matter is finally laid to rest.

#Reading and update tips:
1. Set mainly on campus, a sweet pure-love story that's hopefully lighthearted and full of everyday moments.
2. The author is an office drone and gets writer's block, with very little backlog. I'll try to update daily, but can't promise.
3. I'll add more if I think of anything. Thanks, everyone~
