Delaugno transmigrated into Gotham City, a place renowned for its simple, honest folk.
Although he had the template of a certain superhero who could clear Gotham in a single night, he was truly just a fragile ordinary rich man, so fragile that he was terminally ill and on the verge of dropping dead.
But there was good news: he was bound to a System, and as long as he spent money extravagantly, he could extend his lifespan.
What could be more perfect?
The one thing this body had in abundance was money, and the thing he was best at in life was acting cool.
Looking at the bank balance that could fund a lifetime of spending, and the connections his parents had left behind, Delaugno smiled.
And so word spread across Gotham's streets and alleys that the last heir of the Katerin family had started throwing money around. He was also more than happy to be interviewed by reporters, and even offered this timeless quote: "Money can solve a lot of problems. If it doesn't solve yours, you haven't spent enough." He successfully made a name for himself in the tabloids as a rich idiot, and was kidnapped eight times in one day, breaking a record set by a certain billionaire.
Normally, being rich doesn't necessarily attract supervillains, unless you're not only rich but also spectacularly stupid.
Sure enough, that very night he was kidnapped by Black Mask. Faced with the infamous Mr. Black Mask and his threats, Delaugno smiled confidently and pulled out a stack of bank cards.
"Use them as you like. If you run out, just ask me for more."
He lifted his chin confidently.
"?"
Red Robin arrived late and witnessed the scene. He knocked out the still-stunned Black Mask with a quick swing of his staff, then tried to use the power of words to make the rich idiot of a young master a little more cautious.
But when Delaugno looked over the Red Robin who had just saved him, he gave him a careful once-over. A moment later, he flashed a wicked smile and pulled out another stack of bank cards.
"You're Red Robin, right? I'll admit you've got a pretty face. Here's a deposit. Work as my bodyguard, and I'll share all my bank accounts with you."
Red Robin fell silent. So did everyone listening on the still-open comms channel.
"Not enough? What a greedy little thing."
Delaugno feigned distress, then pulled out his property deeds and slid them over to Red Robin.
"I didn't bring that much with me. I'll give you the rest when I get home. Or do you prefer a check?"
His brothers and sisters erupted in laughter over the comms, while Red Robin walked away with a blank expression.
That night, the Katerin family heir's attempt to flirt with Red Robin became the tabloids' top headline, and the love triangle between Wayne heir Delaugno Katerin and Red Robin became a hot topic in Gotham.
Delaugno: I just wanted to spend money.
1. The protagonist's power is simply being super rich. His CP is Tim, and the romance is also full of comedy. I can't even be sure I won't take it off track.
2. It's a comedy extravaganza from start to finish. Everyone is a comedian.
3. The protagonist is either spending money or on his way to spend money.
4. The funny protagonist is the strongest of all.
Theme: A comedy protagonist is the true meaning of the world
Come on! Come on! The beginning was great. I was attracted by the embarrassing copywriting, and then I discovered that the teacher has a connotative soul. The beginning is compact and suspenseful, and the reading was not watery. The beginning is very high and I am already looking forward to the next story. So the question is, does the teacher update frequently?
I really like the copywriting. When will it be updated?
Very good setting, you are even better! Come on update
