Then one day, Luo Shu suddenly began to foresee the tragic fates of the people around her:

The master who treated her like his own granddaughter would die a gruesome death in a killing formation while protecting his beloved disciple.

Her usually gentle and dignified second senior brother would be hung upside down atop the city wall like a slaughtered animal, his white robes stained red with blood.

Her lively and interesting fellow disciples would become soulless walking corpses...

And the Demon Lord who would one day trample across the mortal lands and bring about the destruction of heaven and earth was, at this moment, merely her willful, proud, pretty-faced junior brother who was an excellent cook.

Yu Yuan was a half-demon, rejected by every clan from a young age. He had never known warmth, and so grew into a cold and heartless person who kept others at a distance.

He concealed his identity and entered the immortal sect to investigate the truth behind his clan's destruction, but a girl attached herself to him.

At first, Yu Yuan only wanted to get rid of this burden. But she used her mortal body to shield him from a demon's deadly attack, and felt sorry for him because he had once gone hungry and cold.

Later, Yu Yuan discovered that he was growing stranger and stranger. He couldn't help caring about her, studying her, longing for her, until at last his obsession grew wildly, like a creeping vine:

"Senior Sister, you said you wanted to save the world. Does that include me?"
