After Being Forced to Live with a Psycho

Liang Henian can see monsters that no one else can. Anyone targeted by one of them meets a truly gruesome end.

Then one day, a young man who had helped him was followed by a monster.

Liang Henian was about to warn him when he saw the young man smash the hideous monster to pieces, a crazed smile spreading across his handsome face.

Foul, viscous fluid sprayed everywhere. It was a horrifying, sickening scene.

Sensing the dangerous, murderous look in the young man's eyes, Liang Henian decided to pretend he was blind.

The corpse vanished into specks of light. The young man approached him, his voice icy. "Stop pretending. I know you can see them."

Liang Henian turned to run, but a long, pale hand suddenly clamped down on his shoulder. "Welcome to the Supernatural Investigation Unit. I'm the team leader, Chen Jing."

He was about to refuse when the hand on his shoulder suddenly tightened. "The pay is excellent. Still don't want to join?"

Meeting the man's dangerous gaze, Liang Henian immediately grabbed his hand. "I do! I really do!"

After being forced to join the Supernatural Investigation Unit, Liang Henian couldn't take Chen Jing's constant craziness and ran away in the middle of the night. On the road, he unexpectedly rescued a middle-aged man who was being stalked by a monster.

The man handed him a business card with a friendly smile. "The country needs talented people like you."

Seeing the name Chen Jing on the card, Liang Henian's smile slowly froze.

If this man was Chen Jing, then who was the lunatic squatting in his home, going crazy and biting him every night?

[Light horror and suspense. The romance develops at an extremely slow pace. Not a power fantasy. The plot and romance each get equal focus.]
