Chronicles of the Jianghu Heroes

An absurd dream jolted three sleeping teenagers awake in the capital. In the dream Feng Zheng was a classic transmigration heroine with a halo that made her a natural orator. As soon as she said that everyone was equal, people would be brainwashed on the spot. Unfortunately, it didn’t work very well. The equality she preached seemed a little hypocritical. Ying Wushuang was a revenge-story heroine who had been reborn with a halo. Whenever she wanted to set a trap for someone, they would lose their wits and jump right into it. Unfortunately, that didn’t work very well either. It seemed only Feng Zheng lost her wits as a result. Yan Miao was a transmigration-into-a-book redemption heroine bound to a System. Whenever she wanted to... Unfortunately, she couldn’t use that line. Her halo only meant the sickly, twisted male villain couldn’t kill her, making it easier for her to redeem him. After waking up The transmigration heroine, the reborn heroine, and the System heroine stared at one another. The transmigration heroine said to the reborn heroine, “I don’t want the male lead. You can have him. Just don’t fight me.” The reborn heroine said to the System heroine, “I don’t want the male lead or the male villain. You can have them. Just don’t kill me.” The System heroine gave a dry laugh. “My halo may be the weakest, but I don’t take out the trash.” Several months later, the three met at a martial arts tournament. The transmigration heroine: “The tournament champion is mine. Don’t try to take it from me.” The reborn heroine: “I don’t want to be champion. I want to become emperor. Don’t try to take that from me.” The System heroine: “Sorry, but I’m going after both the championship and the throne.” * The jianghu is rife with bloodshed, the court with intrigue.
