Radiant, ambitious woman | Female reporter x Cold, rigid man | Intangible cultural heritage inheritor

Luancheng is the first stop for an in-depth interview about the intangible cultural heritage program, and the hometown Shen Ming took eighteen years to leave behind.

She is the most radiant, captivating reporter around, and an ambitious woman with exceptional professional skills.

At first, Shen Ming only wanted to get the ruthless Nuo opera inheritor Song Yi on board and win a journalism award.

She never expected that in the end,

she would win not only the journalism award, but him, too.

-

Song Yi, a Nuo opera inheritor whose stunning Nuo dance video went viral.

The handsome, refined face beneath his Nuo mask made his popularity explode overnight.

At first,

Song Yi kept everyone at arm's length and even warned Shen Ming, "Intangible cultural heritage shouldn't be a tool for you to chase fame and profit."

But later,

he was the one who carved a Nuo mask for her by hand;

he was the one who performed a Nuo dance just for her;

and he was also the one who pleaded with red-rimmed eyes for her not to leave.

-

And Luancheng, a city surrounded by mountains, blossomed anew as the two joined hands to pass on its intangible cultural heritage.
