After Becoming a Substitute Bride to the Blind Prince

1.

Before taking the place of a fake heiress and becoming a princess consort,

Shen Jiali had heard that this blind prince was a bloodthirsty demon who killed without blinking,

and that he had a beloved woman who had been sent away for a political marriage.

But what did any of that have to do with her?

The prince couldn't see, so he would never discover that she was an impostor.

All she had to do was be his princess consort and enjoy a life of wealth and luxury.

At worst, the prince was so vigorous that he left her aching at the waist at night.

2.

But things never go according to plan.

Fu Chen regained his sight and discovered that she was a fake.

He returned to the battlefield, destroyed the enemy kingdom, and brought his beloved woman back.

3.

On the day Fu Chen returned in triumph with his beloved,

Shen Jiali waited and waited at the prince's residence, until a letter of divorce arrived.

She knew it was time to go back to being a country girl.

When they met again,

the once cool and self-possessed Fu Chen seemed to have gone mad.

In broad daylight, he abducted her back to his residence,

holding her by the waist as he called her name again and again.

"When did I ever say we were getting a divorce?"

.

An ancient setting, a marriage-first-love-later story, with an identity-reveal plot.

The male lead will regain his sight later.
