My Lovely Neighbor

Qiao Nian has been a good girl for 26 years. One day, she gets a rebellious streak and wants to try living on her own. Defying her parents, she moves out of their several-hundred-square-meter mansion and into a 90-square-meter apartment.

As Qiao Nian drags her suitcase out the door, her mother fumes, "Let her go. She'll be back in two days, tops!"

Sure enough... Young Miss Qiao, used to a life of comfort and luxury, starts having second thoughts just two days after moving into the apartment. She can't stand the loneliness and emptiness of living alone and wants to go back to her mother's arms. But just as she's about to make the call, a beautiful young woman moves in next door.

A slim waist, long legs, fair skin, and stunning looks...

Qiao Nian swallows and hangs up with a flourish.

On the very first day as neighbors, Qiao Nian knocks on the beautiful young woman's door. "Hey, gorgeous, I'm out of soy sauce. Could I borrow some?"

Shi Jin: "..."

She generously gives Qiao Nian an unopened bottle, hoping that she won't come bother her again.

But the next day: "Hey, gorgeous, I'm out of shampoo. Could I borrow some?"

Qiao Nian shamelessly uses every excuse she can think of to strike up a conversation, borrowing everything from soy sauce to things she doesn't need. Once she's run out of reasons to knock on her neighbor's door, she has no choice but to stop visiting.

Shi Jin waits and waits for Qiao Nian to knock, but she never comes. After a fierce internal struggle, Shi Jin can no longer contain how much she misses her and knocks on the door next door.

Seeing the person who opens it staring at her in astonishment, Shi Jin gets straight to the point: "I think you can borrow me!"
