Random Revival Point in a Corrupted Honmaru

1

Although his memories are a mess, that doesn't stop Hayami Rin from playing games.

As a veteran player, he's seen countless respawn points.

But the one before him, with its broken models, built-in corruption effects, and a group of "red-name monsters" that attack on sight, is certainly something else.

The whole point is to send players back to the respawn point and keep killing them until they can never get out, huh? Interesting!

There are countless corrupted Honmaru abandoned by the government, but this is the only one so poor it can't even afford tofu.

Historical masterpieces, national treasures of the present, the most beautiful swords under heaven: here, they're all starving and gaunt.

Just as the sword-wielding tsukumogami are tightening their belts to open up farmland, an outsider falls from the sky.

What? Items randomly drop when someone dies?

Every blade's eyes light up: Farm him!

Hayami Rin: I was just passing through. Please go easy on me, heroes.

Mikazuki: Heh.

Hayami Rin: You can hit me, but spare the kitten! It doesn't know anything, it's just a cat!

Hayami Rin: You need food and medicine, right? I'll bring them for you, okay? As long as you take good care of my cat, we can work something out.

Hayami Rin, formerly an ordinary sorcerer in the jujutsu world, has already forgotten how he used a disposable, useless technique to pack up and take the strongest sorcerer away from a world on the brink of destruction. He only remembers one thing: this little cat is important, and must be taken care of.

So Hayami Rin spends his days traveling between worlds, grinding mobs and running dungeons, supporting an entire corrupted Honmaru by himself.

Meanwhile, the swords of the Honmaru focus on their internal duties, forming groups to drink tea and pet the cat.

Gojo (cat form): I'm giving you one chance to choose your words again!

[Reading Guide]

1. The pairing is Mikazuki. A story about raising a cat with the old gentleman.

2. This is just an idea for now. The outline needs more work, and the blurb may change. If you're interested, you can add it to your collection for now.

Core theme: The unexpected is always around the corner, especially in games. Those who grind mobs are always liable to get farmed themselves.
